Play Smart. Stay in Control.

slatgo Responsible Gaming

At slatgo, we believe gambling should always be entertainment — never a problem. Our responsible gaming program exists to make sure every Filipino player on our platform has the tools, knowledge, and support to stay in control of their gambling. If it stops being fun, we want to know — and we want to help.

This page covers slatgo's responsible gaming tools, the 21+ age requirement, warning signs of problem gambling, self-exclusion options, and support resources available to Filipino players. Please read it — even if you feel you have no problem gambling. The best time to know your tools is before you need them.

21+
MINIMUM AGE TO PLAY AT slatgo

slatgo strictly enforces the 21+ age requirement for all account holders. Age is verified during the KYC process. Accounts found to belong to players under 21 are closed immediately and all balances forfeited — no exceptions.

Gambling Involves Risk

The house edge means the platform has a statistical advantage in all casino games. Sports betting involves uncertainty. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Set a budget before you start and stick to it.

slatgo Responsible Gaming Tools

Self-service tools built directly into your slatgo account — available 24/7, no support call needed

Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly limit on how much you can deposit into your slatgo account. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the limit period resets. Reducing your deposit limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit has a 24-hour cooling-off period before it activates — giving you time to reconsider.
Loss Limits
Set a cap on your total net losses over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. When your loss limit is reached, slatgo will restrict further real-money gameplay for the remainder of that period. Loss limits help you stay within a budget you've decided on in advance — before a bad session makes you want to chase losses.
Session Time Limits
Set a maximum session duration. When your session time limit is reached, slatgo will display a notification and can automatically log you out. Long gambling sessions — especially on live casino or sports betting — are associated with impaired decision-making. A session limit protects you from playing longer than you planned.
Cooling-Off Period
Take a short break from gambling without permanently closing your account. Cooling-off periods at slatgo range from 24 hours to 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period, your account remains open but you cannot deposit, place bets, or access games. Your balance is safe and accessible after the period ends.
Self-Exclusion
Permanently close your slatgo account for a minimum of 6 months, with options extending to 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, or indefinitely. During self-exclusion, your account is locked and you cannot create a new slatgo account. Any remaining balance will be processed for withdrawal in accordance with your verified payment method. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the end of the chosen period.
Reality Checks
Enable periodic reality check pop-ups during your gambling sessions — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes. A reality check shows you how long you've been playing, how much you've deposited and wagered in the current session, and your current net result. It prompts you to decide whether to continue or stop. Small interruptions like this have been shown to reduce problematic gambling behaviour.

All tools above are found in Account Settings → Responsible Gaming in your slatgo dashboard. No phone call or email required to activate them.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Gambling becomes a problem when it stops being a controlled leisure activity and starts affecting your life. Recognising these warning signs early — in yourself or someone you know — is the first step toward getting help.

Chasing losses — continuing to gamble or increasing bet sizes specifically to try to win back money already lost. This is one of the most reliable indicators of problem gambling and often leads to rapid escalation of losses.
Gambling with money meant for other things — using money set aside for rent, groceries, electricity bills, children's school fees, or other essential expenses to fund gambling. This is a clear indicator of loss of control.
Borrowing money to gamble — taking loans, using credit, or borrowing from family and friends (sometimes without their knowledge) to fund gambling activity.
Lying about gambling — hiding gambling activity from family members, partners, or employers; minimising the frequency or size of losses when asked; or lying about where money went.
Neglecting responsibilities — missing work, neglecting family obligations, or abandoning hobbies and social activities because of gambling or because of time spent thinking about gambling.
Inability to stop — repeatedly trying to cut down or stop gambling but being unable to do so despite wanting to. This mirrors the loss of control seen in other addictive behaviours.
Gambling to escape problems — using gambling as a way to escape stress, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or other personal difficulties, rather than addressing those problems directly.

If you recognise these signs, please act now

Use slatgo's self-exclusion tool immediately from your Account Settings. Then seek support — problem gambling is a recognised condition with effective treatment options available in the Philippines.

Habits of Healthy Gambling

Most Filipino players who enjoy slatgo do so safely and responsibly. These are the habits that keep gambling as entertainment — not a problem.

Set a budget before every session — decide how much you're willing to spend on gambling this session, this week, or this month. Treat it as the cost of entertainment. Once it's gone, stop. Don't recalculate.
Never gamble with money you need — gambling money should be a separate, discretionary amount. Not your rent. Not your grocery allowance. Not your emergency fund. Not money borrowed from anyone.
Accept that losses are the cost of play — the house edge is real and unavoidable in casino games. You will lose more sessions than you win over time. If winning money is your primary goal rather than entertainment, gambling is the wrong vehicle for that goal.
Take regular breaks — leave the platform between sessions. Gambling should be one part of a balanced life, not something that occupies most of your waking attention. Use slatgo's session time limit and reality check features to build breaks into your play.
Never gamble to escape a bad mood — gambling when you're stressed, upset, or trying to forget about something is a high-risk pattern. It reduces rational decision-making and is associated with faster development of problem gambling behaviour.
Talk openly about your gambling — healthy gambling doesn't need to be secret. If you find yourself hiding your gambling from the people close to you, that's worth examining honestly.
Use slatgo's tools proactively — set your deposit limits and session time limits from day one — not just when things have gone wrong. Setting responsible gaming boundaries when you're in a calm, rational state is much more effective than trying to set them in the middle of a difficult gambling session.

Self-Assessment: How Is Your Gambling?

Honest answers to these questions can help you gauge whether your gambling is staying within healthy limits. Answer them privately and honestly.

Have you ever gambled with money you needed for essential expenses like rent, food, or school fees?
Have you ever continued gambling after losing in order to try and win your money back?
Have you ever borrowed money, sold items, or used credit specifically to fund gambling?
Has gambling ever caused you to miss work, neglect family, or avoid other responsibilities?
Have you ever felt the need to hide your gambling activity or the amount of money you've spent on it?
Have you ever felt restless, irritable, or anxious when you tried to reduce or stop gambling?
Have you ever gambled as a way to cope with problems, stress, depression, or loneliness?
Have you ever spent more money or time gambling than you originally planned?

If you answered "Yes" to one or more of these questions

Consider using slatgo's self-exclusion or cooling-off tools, and speak to someone you trust. A "yes" to any of these questions doesn't automatically mean you have a gambling problem — but it's worth taking seriously and discussing with a professional if the pattern is recurring.

slatgo's Responsible Gaming Commitments

What slatgo does at the platform level to promote safe, responsible gambling for all Filipino players

🔞
Strict 21+ Enforcement
slatgo enforces the 21+ age requirement through mandatory KYC verification. Valid Philippine government-issued identification is required before withdrawals are processed. Accounts where the holder is found to be under 21 are closed immediately, with balances forfeited. There are no exceptions to this policy.
🚫
No Marketing to Excluded Players
Players who have activated self-exclusion at slatgo are immediately removed from all marketing communications. We do not send promotional emails, SMS messages, or bonus offers to self-excluded accounts. We believe that marketing gambling to someone who has told us they need a break is ethically unacceptable.
📊
Problem Gambling Pattern Detection
slatgo's platform monitors for patterns associated with problem gambling — such as rapid escalation of deposit amounts, frequent large deposits immediately after large withdrawals, and prolonged non-stop sessions without breaks. Accounts flagged by these patterns may be contacted by slatgo support with responsible gaming information.
⚖️
PAGCOR Regulatory Framework
slatgo operates within the Philippine gaming regulatory environment governed by PAGCOR. Responsible gaming requirements are embedded in the regulatory framework that applies to legitimate online gaming operators in the Philippines. slatgo treats PAGCOR compliance on responsible gaming as a floor, not a ceiling.
💬
Non-Judgmental Support Access
slatgo customer support agents are trained to handle responsible gaming conversations without judgement. If you contact slatgo support because you're worried about your gambling, you will not be pressured to continue playing or offered bonuses to "stay." Your wellbeing is more important to us than your continued deposits.
