1. Data Controller

slatgo, operating the online gambling and sports betting platform at slatgo.app, is the Data Controller responsible for the personal information collected from Players and website visitors. For the purposes of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), slatgo determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and is accountable for its handling.

All data processing by slatgo is conducted in accordance with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) guidelines and applicable Philippine law. Where slatgo engages third-party service providers to process personal data on its behalf, those parties are contractually bound to process data only in accordance with slatgo's instructions and applicable data protection requirements.

• Responsible gaming — to administer responsible gaming tools including deposit limits, self-exclusion, and session controls, and to identify patterns that may indicate problem gambling behaviour.
• Customer support — to respond to your enquiries, resolve account issues, and manage complaints.
• Platform improvement — to analyse usage data to improve the slatgo platform, game offerings, and user experience.
• Marketing communications — to send you promotional offers and platform updates (where you have given consent or where permitted by applicable law). You may opt out of marketing communications at any time through your account settings.

slatgo processes your personal data on the following legal bases under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012:

• Contractual necessity — processing required to perform our obligations under the slatgo Terms and Conditions, including account management, game provision, and payment processing.
• Legal obligation — processing required to comply with KYC, AML, gaming regulatory, and tax reporting obligations under Philippine law.
• Legitimate interests — processing for fraud prevention, platform security, responsible gaming monitoring, and service improvement, where these interests are not overridden by your privacy rights.
• Consent — processing for marketing communications and non-essential cookies, where your consent has been obtained and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

slatgo does not sell your personal data. We share personal data with the following categories of third parties only to the extent necessary for the stated purpose:

• Payment processors — GCash (Mynt), Maya (Paymaya Philippines Inc.), BPI, BDO, UnionBank, Metrobank, and other payment service providers receive transaction data necessary to process your deposits and withdrawals.
• Identity verification providers — third-party KYC and identity verification service providers process your government ID documents and personal data to validate your identity.
• Game providers — certified game providers (including Pragmatic Play, PG Soft, Jili, Habanero, and others) may receive anonymised or pseudonymised session data necessary to deliver game services. These providers operate under contractual data processing agreements with slatgo.
• Regulatory authorities — the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), and other Philippine government agencies where required by law or regulatory mandate.
• Law enforcement — Philippine law enforcement agencies where we are required by court order, legal process, or applicable law to disclose personal data.
• IT and infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, data storage, cybersecurity, and platform infrastructure providers who process data on slatgo's behalf under contractual data processing agreements.

All third-party data processors engaged by slatgo are contractually required to implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures and to process personal data only in accordance with slatgo's documented instructions.

7. Data Retention

7.1 Active Accounts. Personal data associated with an active slatgo account is retained for as long as the account remains active and as necessary to provide services, maintain regulatory compliance, and resolve disputes.

7.2 Closed Accounts. Upon account closure, slatgo retains personal data for a minimum of five (5) years in compliance with Philippine AML record-keeping requirements under the Anti-Money Laundering Act (Republic Act 9160, as amended). Financial transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and financial reporting laws.

7.3 KYC Records. Identity verification documents and KYC records are retained for the period prescribed by PAGCOR regulations and Philippine AML law, which is generally no less than five (5) years from the date of the last transaction.

7.4 Marketing Data. Personal data processed solely on the basis of consent for marketing purposes is deleted within thirty (30) days of consent being withdrawn, unless the data is also required to be retained for another purpose described above.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

slatgo uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (including local storage and session tokens) to operate and improve the Platform. The categories of cookies used include:

• Essential cookies — strictly necessary for the Platform to function, including session authentication cookies that keep you logged in to your slatgo account. These cannot be disabled without affecting Platform functionality.
• Functional cookies — remember your preferences such as game display settings, preferred language, and responsible gaming limits.
• Analytical cookies — collect anonymised data about how Players use the Platform to help slatgo improve performance, identify errors, and enhance the user experience.
• Security cookies — used for fraud detection, bot prevention, and session integrity monitoring.

You can manage non-essential cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to use the slatgo Platform.

9. Security Measures

slatgo implements technical and organisational security measures appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of personal data processed, including:

• Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) encryption for all data transmitted between your device and slatgo's servers.
• Encryption of sensitive personal data and payment information at rest.
• Access controls limiting personal data access to slatgo personnel with a documented need to access that data.
• Two-factor authentication (2FA) for Player account access (available as an opt-in security feature).
• Regular security assessments and penetration testing of Platform infrastructure.
• Automatic session timeout to protect accounts on inactive devices.
• Anomalous login detection and notification procedures.

While slatgo maintains robust security measures, no online system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own account credentials. If you suspect your slatgo account has been compromised, contact support immediately.

10. Your Data Rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data held by slatgo:

• Right to be informed — the right to know what personal data slatgo holds about you, the purposes for which it is processed, and how it is used. This Privacy Policy fulfils that obligation.
• Right of access — the right to request a copy of the personal data slatgo holds about you, subject to verification of your identity.
• Right to rectification — the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Right to erasure — the right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to slatgo's legal retention obligations. Note that data subject to AML and regulatory retention requirements cannot be deleted before the mandatory retention period has elapsed.
• Right to object — the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time through your account settings.
• Right to data portability — the right to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
• Right to lodge a complaint — the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you believe slatgo has processed your personal data in breach of the Data Privacy Act.

11. Children's Privacy

slatgo's services are strictly for individuals aged twenty-one (21) years and above. slatgo does not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 21 years of age. The 21+ age requirement is enforced during registration and KYC verification. If slatgo becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 21, that account will be immediately closed, personal data deleted (subject to legal retention obligations), and any associated balance forfeited.

Parents and guardians who believe their child has created a slatgo account should contact slatgo support immediately with evidence of the account holder's age for prompt investigation and closure.

12. Cross-Border Data Transfers

slatgo may transfer personal data to third-party service providers whose infrastructure or operations are located outside the Philippines, including cloud infrastructure providers and certified game providers. Any such transfers are conducted only to countries or organisations that provide an adequate level of data protection, or subject to appropriate contractual safeguards consistent with the requirements of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and National Privacy Commission regulations on cross-border data transfers.

By using slatgo and accepting this Privacy Policy, you consent to the transfer of your personal data outside the Philippines where necessary for the provision of services, subject to the safeguards described in this Section.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

slatgo reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered Players via the email address or mobile number on file, or through a notice displayed upon login, no less than seven (7) days before the updated Policy takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of slatgo after the effective date of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
